Michael Armstrong, age 81, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. No services are being held at this time.
Michael was born on October 19, 1942 in Chillicothe, Ohio to Lowel Armstrong and Thelma Berk. He graduated from Chillicothe High School and then he joined the United States Air Force, where he served his country for four years. He married Sharon Cook on May 12, 1969 and together they shared nearly 55 years of marriage. Michael worked for Mount Carmel Health System for many years, until he retired and became self-employed. He was known for being a very outgoing person and he never met a stranger anywhere he went.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Kevin Armstrong.
Survivors left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sharon Armstrong; his brother, David Armstrong and wife, Sally; his brother-in-law, James Cook and his three nephews, Bryan Armstrong, Christopher Armstrong, and Michael Armstrong.
