Melissa Dyan Lowe was born June 9, 1982, in Amarillo to Dale and Donna Lowe. She participated in early childhood education and attended school at North Heights, Children Rehab, Willow Vista, River Road and graduated from Amarillo High School. She participated in special olympics. She enjoyed traveling with her parents. They traveled to Alaska, Niagara Falls, Michigan, Las Vegas and took several cruises, along with camping in Colorado. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her rattley toys (especially in church) and her turtle dove humming. She never spoke, but had a way of expressing herself. She was loved by all who met her. She will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Donald Lawson and Jack Lowe; her grandmother, Margaret Adams; and an aunt, Carrol Shaver.
Survivors include her parents; a sister, Lynzee Lowe Oden and husband Justin; her grandmother, Joan Lawson; three nephews, Christian, Peyton and Declan; and a niece, Jolee, all of Amarillo; and her loving uncles, aunts and cousins.
