Max was born and raised in Hereford, Texas and spent most of his life here in Amarillo, Texas.
He married to three wonderful women that preceded him during his life. He worked hard raising his children and stepchildren. While we were growing up we all thought of each other as our natural siblings.
He had two daughters and one son with Wanda, one stepson with Kathy and two stepdaughters with Neva. There are a combined fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren with our combined family.
He worked many jobs during his life. He instilled work ethics and independence which both qualities have helped with my journey in this life. He worked with Borden Creamery, Plains Creamery, Frito-Lay, Pepperidge Farms and Fiesta Spices just to name a few. After retiring he would spend time just about everyday drinking coffee and eating donuts at several Donut Stops here in Amarillo with his many coffee buddies. He had many friends and always made time for everyone. If you needed help he was there.
He started his life on July 7th 1939 and ended his earthly journey on October 14th 2024.
