She was born in Suchil Durango on May 30, 1928. Magdalena married Eulalio F. Carrillo in 1954, they had 11 children. She helped her husband start a grocery store in Juarez Chihuahua, Mexico. Her hometown was El Paso, Texas, but she lived in Wyoming, Colorado, South Plains and Plainview, Texas. Magdalena loved to dance with her husband, her favorite singer was Vicente Fernandez. She loved her husband, children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren, her nephews and nieces. Magdalena was a great cook, and she loved feeding anybody that visited her home. She will be greatly missed.
Magdalena is survived by her husband; Eulalio F. Carrillo, sons; Eloy Carrillo, and Eulalio Carrillo Jr., daughters; Petra Carrillo, Janie Armendariz, Gloria Carrillo, Marie Carrillo Russell, Teresa Carrillo, and Lucy Salazar, grandchildren; Tommy, Jose Angel, Jose P., Jessica, Crystal, Cecilio,Jennifer, Ruby, Raul, Christina, James, Eloy, Eddie, Nikolas, Alfredo, Jesus, Juan, Tracy, and Bella, 33 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, brother; Manuel Espeleta, and sister; Belen Espeleta.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Pascual and Gregoria Gonzales Espeleta, her daughter; Mariadel Refugio (Cuca) Carrillo Aleman, two sisters; Juana Espeleta and Luz Espeleta, three brothers;Tino Espeleta, Daniel Espeleta, and Alejandro Espeleta.
