Lee honorably served his country from January 13, 1958 to September 22, 1960 as a Tractor Scraper Operator. Lee was an avid gun and knife collector, loved riding motorcycles and loved driving his Corvette as fast as possible, so much that he would later share this passion with his son Michael, shooting his .357 Magnum and driving the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 at every opportunity. Lee was a very passionate animal lover from dogs, cats, horses and everything in between. In July of 2010, Lee would meet Linda Harmon, laying the foundation for a lifelong friendship. Most importantly, Lee loved his wife Janice very dearly and cared for her through cancer, standing by her side until her final moments on this earth. Lee was an incredible husband, father, brother and provider to his cats and dog and will be sorely missed by all who were blessed enough to have known him.
Left on this earth to carry on his legacy is his son Michael and wife Diana Davis of Amarillo, Texas, sister Judy and husband Ray Craven, close lifelong friend Linda Harmon and cats Levi and Big Boy.
Lee is preceded in death by his loving wife Janice M. Thrasher, parents and dog Buster.
A family-led service for Lee will be held Friday, July 22, 2022 at 8:30 AM at Memorial Park Cemetery, 6969 East Interstate 40, Amari, Texas 79118.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.memorialparkamarillo.com for the Thrasher family.
