Johnny L. Moore, 91 passed away on June 4, 2017 in Sweetwater, Texas.Services will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Griggs–Schooler-Gordon Pioneer Chapel with Pastor Dale Moreland officiating with burial to follow at Llano Cemetery.
Johnny was born on August 3, 1925 in Littlefield, Texas. He served in the United States Army and was married to the love of his life LaRae Griffin for 51 years. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Grace Moore; wife, LaRae Griffin Moore; son, Dennis Moore; brothers, William and James Moore and sisters, Wanda Moore and Martha Stowell.
Survivors include his son, Travis and wife Barbara Moore; grandchildren, Abby Messer, Esther Moore, and Eva Moore all of Sweetwater, Ellie Pinnock of Georgia, Nicole Lopez of Alaska and six great-grandchildren.
