Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Ronald
Henning officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Amarillo. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40.
Helen was born June 18, 1932, in Roger Mills County, Okla., to James Tilden and Annabell King Marshall. She married George Richard Kirklin on Feb. 11, 1951, in Allison, Texas. Helen graduated from Allison High School in Allison and worked in Amarillo as a licensed cosmetologist.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Lillie Mae Teague.
Survivors include her son, James Richard and wife Sarah of Oologah, Okla.; a sister, Betty Ann Henning and husband Ronald of Reydon, Okla.; two brothers, James Tilden Marshall Jr. and wife Cely of Joplin and John Wilfred Marshall and wife Jeanne of Platte City, Mo.; two aunts, Bessie and Bertha Honeycutt; seven nieces, Deborah Teague Cowan, Diana Teague Staniford, Denise Teague Parman, Lola Henning West, Audra and Courtney Marshall and Karen Kirklin McPherson; seven nephews, Sean and Aaron Marshall, Jimmy, Ron and Steve Henning, Irvin Kirklin and John Young; and numerous cousins.
The family would like to thank the many individuals at Joplin’s Spring River Christian Village who cared for Helen.
