Gary Lynn Pilgrim Sr.

Gary Lynn Pilgrim Sr., 66, of Amarillo, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Celebration of life services will be held on Monday, April 02, 2018 at 10 a. m. in the Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Pastor Jerry Davey presiding.

Mr. Pilgrim was born in Bonham, Texas on August 08, 1951 to John and Eloise Pilgrim. He would spend a great deal of his life in Pittsburg, Texas raising his family before relocating to Amarillo in 2004 with his wife. He was a career truck driver, and retired from Plains Transportation. Mr. Pilgrim was a member of the Mason’s and the Shriner’s. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and loved to play jokes on people.

He was proceeded in death by his parents. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 47 years Sharon, two sons Brandon and Gary Jr. of Pittsburg, Texas, five grandchildren; Austin, Dakota, Colton, Brennah, and Riley all of Pittsburg, Texas; three brothers Bill of Pittsburg, Texas, Larry of Amarillo, Texas, and Johnny of Mustang, Oklahoma; as well as many nieces and nephews
