Elaine Mae Ferguson Clark, 77, left this world on Sunday January 14, 2024, surrounded by family, friends, and her loyal feline companion Darla. Elaine was born May 22,1946, to James and Goldie Ferguson in Jonesboro, LA. Elaine was one of five siblings. The family moved to Amarillo in the early 1960's. Elaine met her soulmate Danny Lee Clark and married him on April 4,1970. They were happily married 51 years at the time of Danny's passing.
They had one daughter, Stephanie Ann, with whom they had a cheerful home. A granddaughter, Erin Katelyn, joined their family in 2000. Elaine was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who also made time to work at the Boys Ranch Post Office, and work alongside Danny in his painting business.
Elaine is preceded in death by her father James Ferguson and her mother, Goldie Weeden. Husband Danny Clark. A brother Jimmy Ferguson and sister Ann Venable.
Elaine is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Morrison, of Amarillo. Her granddaughter, Erin Morrison and partner, Taylor, of Wichita, KS. Two brothers, Gary and wife Annette of Mont Bellevue, TX and Raymond and wife Debbie of Lacross, WI. Elaine also had numerous nieces, nephews, and friends that she loved very much. She is also survived by her loving feline companion, Darla, who was by her side until her death.
