Helen Wynn, 95, of Winter Garden, FL went to be with her Lord on March 21, 2017. Affectionately known as “Nana,” she was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Helen was born in Orlando, FL on October 3, 1921 to the late William and Flora Pierce. She was married to Clifford Wynn for 35 years prior to his passing in 1988. Together, they enjoyed traveling and going on camping trips. Helen was a devout Lutheran and loved singing in the church choir. She particularly loved old hymns, especially Elvis renditions. Helen spent her summers in North Carolina and her winters in Florida. She greatly enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with her family, making many wonderful memories. Helen also worked as a secretary for civil services for many years. She will be missed by all those who knew and could not help but love her. Helen was preceded in passing by her husband, Clifford; 1 brother; and 2 sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Donita Harnage and Janice Tulacz (John); sister, Dorothy Stephens; 6 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great- grandchildren; and 2 more great-great-grandchildren “on the way.”
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 25 from 9-10am at Baldwin Fairchild East Altamonte, 994 E Altamonte Dr., Altamonte Springs, FL 32701. Service will follow at 10am. Reception will take place at the funeral home prior to burial at 12:45pm at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Drive, Winter Park, FL 32789.
