Georgia Caroll Ullo, 79, of Sorento, FL, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024. Born on January 24, 1945, in Chicago, Illinois, she was the eldest of seven children, born to Stanley and Eleanor James. Georgia was married to Philip Ullo for 47 wonderful years until his passing in 2014. She is survived by her sons, David, Daniel & Desiree (his wife), and her late daughter Kristine, who passed away in 2021. Georgia is also survived by her son Franco Assisi. In addition, Georgia is survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In her early years, Georgia was a professional singer, performing on radio and television alongside notable talents such as Chuck Foster, Les and Larry Elgart, Stan Kenton, and Tommy Dorsey. In 1974, she founded Variety Enterprises, where she enjoyed many decades of success as a business owner providing special event planning, entertainment booking, and advertising specialties.
A devoted member of Annunciation Catholic Church, Georgia sang in the choir and actively participated in numerous charitable events. She was particularly passionate about efforts toward prevention of human trafficking. Georgia also cherished her involvement with the All Saints Circle of Catholic Women, an organization she held dear to her heart.
Throughout her life, Georgia was admired and loved by all who knew her. A world traveler with a zest for life, she formed lasting friendships wherever she went. A loving mother, trusted friend, and generous person, who will be greatly missed by the many lives she touched.
