Ruth Pachosa

Ruth Ann Pachosa, 73, of Little Rock went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 20, 2015. She was born October 10, 1941 in Little Rock, Arkansas to William Thomas and Dora Alice Hancock. Ruth was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to have family gatherings, no matter where they were, just so that everyone was there. Ruth was a great “Nana” who loved to spoil her grandchildren rotten. She never met a stranger and loved to be there as a listening ear to those who needed it. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, James; sister, Betty Gordon; and brother, Bill Hancock. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, James Pachosa; sister, Barbara Fansler; four children: Beth Wood and husband, Phillip; Harry Pachosa and wife, Starr; Eric Pachosa and wife, Sharon; and Alice Harshaw and husband, Sam; eight grandchildren: Melissa, Lauren, Lawrence, Savannah, Samuel, Jacob, Jordan and Jeremy; great grandchild, Alice Nicole; her “special babies” which were her puppies, Cagney and Lacey; and many neighbors and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, August 24, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home.
