Milton Ray Purdy

Milton Ray Purdy, age 72, of Bryant, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024. He was born on October 1, 1951, to the late Katherine Marie Purdy. In addition to his parents, Ray is preceded in death by his wife, Denise Purdy; his brother, Bill Melton; and sister, Sue Jones.

Ray was a devoted member of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church, known for his quiet demeanor and reserved nature. Although his life may not have always been easy, he found solace on the golf course, where he spent countless hours pursuing his passion. His family humorously noted that his three favorite things were golf, golf, and more golf. Though he kept to himself, those close to him understood the depth of his character and the strength he displayed in navigating life's challenges. Ray will be remembered for his dedication and the unique way he approached life.

Those left to cherish Ray's memory include stepchildren, Benjamin (Holli) Casey and Amber Luckey; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Terry and Jerry Bain; grandchild, Kaya Luckey; as well as many other beloved family members and friends.

A graveside service for Ray will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 7401 HIGHWAY 5 N, ALEXANDER, AR 72002.
