Michael was a jack of all trades, serving his community for over 40 years alongside his best friend Horace at Prickett’s, which started out as his family’s business. Michael not only served his community, but also the Lord. He attended Lawson Road Church of Christ, and did anything he could to help out, never missing church. Michael was an avid fan of the Razorbacks and the Cardinals. While not watching games, he enjoyed walking up to 10 miles a day, and walking over Marsh Mountain and Two Rivers Bridge.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Bruce Thomas Scoggin, Sr.; one niece, Kimberly Rae Dennis; and a brother-in-law, Gerald Dennis.
He is survived by his sister, Sue Dennis; one niece, Michelle Hause (Chad); one great-niece, Ruby Jean Hause; one nephew, Bruce Thomas Scoggin, Jr. (Loren), and their three children.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.pinecrestfh.com for the Scoggin family.
