Jimmie (Jim) Michael Adams, aged 74, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2024. Born on December 12, 1949, in Santa Maria, California. He was a devoted husband to Alison (Hoomana) Adams and father to 4 sons: Roy (Jerah), Neal (Darcy), Lee (Robbie), and Kenneth (Grace). Jim is the proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Jack and Beverly Adams, sister Leila, brother Ed and is survived by his brother Butch and many nieces and nephews.
Jim touched the lives of many with his compassion, and unwavering support for his family and friends. He cherished moments spent with his loved ones and was a source of guidance and strength to all who knew him. Jim’s mischievous side always kept his loved ones on their toes where he was always quick with a joke, limerick, or memorable funny story from the past.
Jim left a legacy of selfless service, serving 5 years in the U.S. Air Force and the Idaho Air National Guard. As a Vietnam Veteran, Jim inspired his sons to also serve in the military.
His passion for hunting, camping and anything outdoors brought joy to his life, and he shared this enthusiasm with those around him. Whether it was outdoor sportsmanship or engaging in family activities, he approached everything with enthusiasm and dedication, inspiring others to do the same.
Jim leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and integrity. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will forever remain in our hearts as we continue to carry forward his values and teachings.
