Jeanine Hill

Carolyn Jeanine Rudd Hill, 88, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2024. She was born on December 20, 1935, in Little Rock and she was a graduate of Little Rock Central High School. Jeanine devoted her life to her husband of 66 years, Robert, and their two sons.

Jeanine was a fighter which was evident since she was a 31-year Breast Cancer Survivor.

She enjoyed playing tennis in her younger days and was an avid bridge player. Jeanine loved to knit, sew and smocked some of the most beautiful dresses for her 2 granddaughters. She was a wonderful decorator and was owner/partner in The Finishing Touch with her friend, Connie Hendrickson. Jeanine’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family.

Jeanine is preceded in death by her parents, Mary Edna and John Edward Rudd, her husband, Robert Hill, and her sister and brother-in-law, Nancy & Lance Phillips.

She is survived by her sons, Robert Scott Hill (Leslie) of Russellville and John Andrew Hill (Allison) of Little Rock, four grandchildren, Kaitlin Dennison (Adam) and Nathan Hill (Nikki) of Russellville, Drew Hill (Anna Grace) of Dewitt, Alexa Hill of White Hall and seven great grandchildren.

The family will have a private service. Donations may be made in her memory to Arkansas Children’s Hospital or St. Jude’s Research Hospital.
