Frances Elaine Brown

Frances Elaine Brown April 1, 1938-August 5, 2023 85 years old. Frances (Fran) passed away peacefully surrounded by her immediate family. Fran was born in Regina Saskatchewan and moved to BC when she was about 5 years old.

Fran will be greatly missed by her sister Lynda, her daughters Kelly, Laurie (Robert), her grandchildren Graham, Dana (Trevor), Brian, and Davis (Amanda). She was predeceased by her parents Ignatius and May and her husband Ron.

Fran had a long career with the West Vancouver school board. After early retirement, she and Ron moved to Abbotsford, where they started a hobby farm. Fran was enthusiastic about her garden. She volunteered at the hospital, joined a sorority, and travelled the world. Mostly, Fran was attracted to activities that involved creativity and could not keep her hands still. She was a very talented artist who painted beautifully, sewed, knitted, and crocheted. The last several years, Fran took to mixed media art, she clocked many hours at her art table. Perhaps, she is creating art in heaven.

Fran (mom) was a generous and caring soul and a great source of inspiration.
