He was preceded in passing by his father, Major H. Cockrum Jr.; brother, Jeff Cockrum.
Tommy is survived by his loving wife Celeste Annette Cockrum; Loving mother, Lillie Joyce Cockrum; brother, Michael (Sharon) Smith, and several nieces, many cousins, and close friends.
The family will honor Tommy with a Receiving of Friends at Sherwood Chapel and Memorial Gardens, 3176 Airport Highway, Alcoa, TN 37701 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm in the Good Shepard Mausoleum Chapel, with a Funeral Service to follow at 2:00pm, and a Committal Service to follow immediately after at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in the Garden of the Last Supper. In lieu of flowers please make donation in honor of Tommy to Kinzel Springs Baptist Church, 7077 E. Lamar Alexander Pkwy, Townsend, TN 37882.
