Timothy Charles Bledsoe

Timothy Charles Bledsoe, known as “Timmy”, age 58, of Maryville, TN went to his heavenly home on Sunday afternoon. He was born in Blount County, graduated from Alcoa High School in 1984, and received a Masters Degree in Business Management from The University of Texas. He was a member of the Leadership Blount Class of 2001. He worked for the City of Alcoa for 23 years and retired from South Lake Tahoe Utilities in California.

Tim was proceeded in death by his father Lewis “Tim” Bledsoe, grandparents Dossie F. and Anna Mae Bledsoe, Charles Winfred and Margaret Holdway, and father in law Billy Householder. Survivors include his devoted wife, Cheryl, his wonderful children, daughter Molly and son Lucas Bledsoe, Mother Brenda Bledsoe, sister Beverle Bledsoe- Carpenter and niece Karlie Carpenter, Aunt Patty (John) Miller, the beloved Bledsoe family, uncles, aunts, cousins, and a host of good friends. Tims mother-in-law Libby Householder, sister in law Teri (Neil) Davis and step-son Garrett (Alizabeth) Holloway. A special thanks to Blount Memorial Hospice team.

Tim was a member of First Baptist Alcoa. His life is best described by one of his many favorite Bible verses, Ephesians 4:32.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 6th, 2024 at 3:30-6:00 p.m at First Baptist Alcoa, with services to follow at 6:00 with Greg Long and John Lowe officiating.

The Graveside service will be held at Sherwood Memorial Gardens at 11:00 a.m on Saturday, December 7th, 2024.
