Roop, Shirley Ann Hinton of Knoxville went to be with the Lord Saturday January 18,2014. She was preceded in death by parents, sister, Emma Hutchison, brothers , Arlin and Bud Roop. Survived by husband Jim Hinton, son Michael Hinton, Brandy Edmondson. Grandson and wife Michael and Melissa Hinton, Five great-grandchildren, Carder, Holly, and Carson Hinton and Journi and Christopher. Family will receive friends Wednesday January 22, 2014 from 12-2pm at Sherwood Chapel. Service will follow at 2pm with Rev. James M. Hinton officiating. Entombment will follow at Sherwood Chapel and Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
