Ronald “Ron” C. Carrier, age 84, of Bristol, Virginia passed away on May 22, 2021. Ron was born in Bristol, Virginia, and spent most of his life in Bristol, Tennessee. He enlisted in the Army and was stationed in South Korea. Ron worked at the Newport News Ship Building and Dry Dock Company in Newport News, Virginia for 10 years as a pipefitter, and retired from Hayes Plumbing in Bristol, Tennessee after over 20 years of service. Ron loved watching NASCAR and professional football. He was preceded in death by his parents; Wilbur Carrier and Kathleen Tillison; wife, Dorothy Carrier; sister, Janette “Jane” Simpson; brother, Richard Tillison; and granddaughters, Tiffany Zamora, and Jacqueline Ryden. He is survived by his children, Lisa Carrier Alldridge, Ken Tolbert, Michael Tolbert, Debra Tolbert Pouyer, and Cindy Tolbert Frerichs; grandchildren, Ken Tolbert II, Charity Tolbert Boyd, Brandy Tolbert, Heather Tolbert, Michelle Tolbert Bauer, Mark Tolbert, Mike Osborne, Brandon Osborne, Melanie Miller, Neil Howerton, Leslie Cheatham, and Joshua Frerichs; and 20 great-grandchildren. Ron did not wish to have any funeral services, but in lieu of flowers, please make donations to Blount Memorial Home Health and Blount Memorial Hospice, 1095 Lamar Alexander Pkwy, Maryville, TN 37804
