Bob was born December 10, 1951, to Emory and Melva Ellison. He grew up in the Maryville and Knoxville areas where he spent most of his life. Bob enjoyed watching sports, in his younger years, he played baseball and in early adulthood got in the ring and became a Golden Glove Champion. He loved taking his Little John boat trolling to catch a batch of croppie. In addition, Bob spent his time riding his Harly Davidson custom Sportster motorcycle. Bob was a spiritual man although, he wasn't a formal member of a congregation he did still read his Bible religiously. He loved spending time with his family and friends and loved to listen to all kinds of music, especially Rock N' Roll.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents Emory and Melva Ellison; brothers Jerry Lee Ellison and Larry Wayne Ellison Sr.
He is survived by his life partner of 24 years Janis Keith; children Bobbie Michelle Ellison and Charles Steven (Carrie) Ellison; grandchildren Kristopher Dale Draper and Noah Ellison; great-grandchildren Bentlee Dale Draper, Jonah Tyler and Cashton Mills; niece Brandi N. Ellison; nephews Robert Ellison, Douglas Ellison and Larry Ellison Jr.; special additional family Chris (Jessica) Keith, Christopher Keith and Haley Keith.
The family welcomes friends to a Visitation at Sherwood Chapel and Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, from 1pm-3pm with a Funeral Service to follow.
