Paul Robert Schoonover

Paul Robert Schoonover, age 100, of Rockford, TN passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023. Throughout Paul's long life, he accomplished so much. He served his country proudly in the Army during WWII, survived the great depression, and he retired from the United States Postal Service. He was of the Catholic faith and attended All Saints Catholic Church.

He was preceded in passing by his wife of 60 years Yana E. Schoonover; parents Frederick and Elizabeth Schoonover; sisters, Martha Hovatter, Lucille Schoonover.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his 3 children; Robert (Alison) Schoonover, Susan (Donald) Brock, David (Terry) Schoonover; grandchildren, Angela, Adam, Aaron, Andrew, Sarah, Emily, Rachel, Kevin, Eric, Michael; great-grandchildren, Zoe, Oscar, Milo, Opal, Carole, Lucas, Cora, Robin, Teagan, Henley, Deacon, Dane, Paul, Ryan, Yana.

The family will honor Paul with a Funeral Mass at All Saints Catholic Church, 620 N. Cedar Bluff Rd., Knoxville, TN on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 10:30 am. Online condolences and fond memories may be shared with the Schoonover family at www.sherwoodchapel.com.
