John David Parker

John David Parker, age 34, of Knoxville, TN passed away at his home on Saturday, September 16, 2023. John was a graduate of Bearden High School. After high school, John developed a diverse skill set working in commercial kitchens, repairing HVAC and refrigeration units after earning a certificate at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology, and, most recently, obtaining his commercial drivers license to deliver beverages around Knoxville and East Tennessee. John was an avid sports fan; on the weekends you could find him cheering on the Volunteers, the Tennessee Titans or the Nashville Predators. He enjoyed playing basketball and frisbee golf, challenging his friends and family in fantasy football every fall, and relaxing at the beach or in the mountains. As a believer of Jesus, John was eager for his faith to grow, and he attended Faith Promise Church in Knoxville.

John leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving parents, Doug Parker and Rosa Ysasi Parker; brother, Jeremy Parker; grandparents, Barbara Simpson, David and Raquel Ysasi; sister-in-law, Sarah Beth Parker; nephew, Reed Parker, and many friends that loved him dearly.

Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Faith Promise Church, 10740 Faith Promise Lane, Knoxville, TN, with a receiving of friends from 5:30pm to 7:00pm and a memorial service to follow at 7:00pm. Services will be officiated by Troy McNeil, pastor of Grace and Peace church in Knoxville. In John's honor, Titans, Vols, or Predators attire is encouraged.
