He was preceded in death by parents, Ralph and Lois Thomas, and Jack and Wanda Katherine Frye; daughter Daphne Phillips; siblings, Larry, Shirley, Bill, Sally, Kathy, and Jack.
He is survived by sons, Carl, Jr. and Jake Thomas; grandchildren, Alex, Andres, Elizabeth, Jayden, and Kendall; siblings, Gary (Lindsay) and Michael (Becky) Thomas, Terri Coning, Nancy Henson, Debra Clabough, Emma (Frank) Frye-Crowe.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00PM on Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at Portland Street Independent Baptist Church, with a funeral service to follow at 8:00PM, with Rev. Ray Barber officiating. There will be a graveside service at 1:00PM on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered at sherwoodchapel.net
