Marc Thomas Butler

He is preceded in death by his wife of 28 years, Patty Butler, his father Ralph Butler Jr. and his mother Glenda Given.

He is survived by this children Jessica Guetler (TJ) of Cape Coral, FL, Kari Smith (Aaron) of Hanover, MI, Bradley Butler of Albion, MI and Kelsie Longardner (Jake) of Ft. Wayne, IN and his brother Michael Butler of Albion, MI.

Marc has eleven grandchildren, Paige, Justin, Trenton, Kayden, River, Sterling, Bella, Sawyer, twins Tidus & Felix and the youngest grand-baby Kellan. Marc also leaves behind countless relatives and friends.

Marc was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed participating in primitive camping and longbow shoots held by several associations he was involved in. Marc made countless friends as he became a part of the longbow family.

Marc found passion in riding his motorcycle. He went on weekly rides with his longtime pals around the state meeting new friends along the way. Marc recently made a much talked about trip to Florida to visit his oldest daughter.

Throughout the years Marc did many things for his community, such as coaching Little League Baseball and the Homer Summer School. Together the teams won many championships and helped to make lasting friendships.

Marc worked for David’s Home Improvement for 20+ years. He also did home improvement for friends and family in his spare time. The outpouring of love we have all felt is so comforting knowing how much our father meant to so many people.

There will be a memorial service held at a later date, more information to come.
