Lori Ann Langston

An outdoor Celebration of Life will take place at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 13 at Victory Park in Albion.

Lori was born December 24, 1956 to Gerald & Janice (Coppernoll) Updike in Jackson, MI.

Lori graduated from Springport High School in 1975. She worked for Service Master and Arcadia Health Care. She was baptized in the Catholic Church and attended the Catholic school in Albion as a child.

Lori will be best remembered for her bubbly personality and the extraordinary love that she extended to everyone she met. Her door and her heart were always open for whoever needed a plate or a place to lay their head. Lori enjoyed people, especially her children and grandchildren. She always had a funny story to tell and a houseful of people to tell it to.

Lori is survived by her children Demika (Dean) Price of Albion, Lonelle (Breanna) Updike of Jackson, Leeshia Langston of Albion, and Royce (Jhonea) Peake of Albion; her step sons Gregory (Betty) Langston, Jerry Langston, Terry (Sandy) Langston, Ronnie Langston, Charles Langston, Randy (Michelle) Langston; her sister Suzi Fitzpatrick of Coldwater; her brother Richard (Kimberly) Updike of Reed City; her grandchildren Victoria Crenshaw, Kierria Crenshaw, Alize’ Crenshaw, Nakhiya Gulley, Amaya Gulley, Zy’air Wardley, Lailani Updike, Le’Aundra Langston, Amarion Wyrick, Jacayden Atchison; great grandchildren X’Zavion Crenshaw, Germanii Sanders, and A’Jiah Sanders; along with nieces, nephews and many other people that she considered her son, daughter, sister, brother or grandchild. She loved them all. She was preceded in death by her long-time partner Aundra Frazier; her brother-in-law Mick Fitzpatrick; and grandsons Lonelle Langston and Akeo Peake.
