Gwendolyn Mabel Everett, age 97, passed away Monday, October 14, 2024 in Marshall under the loving care of her family and Gentiva Hospice. She was born in Albion, MI on March 20, 1927, the daughter of Harold and Mabel (Fisher) Carey.
Gwendolyn was united in marriage to Rodney Everett and he preceded her in death in 1991. She was also preceded in death by both her parents, her sons, Alan Paul Everett, Richard Ray Everett and her two brothers Sherwood and David Carey.
Gwendolyn leaves to cherish her memory daughter-in-law Josephine Everett, four grandchildren: Jeff Everett, Chad (Dana) Everett, Jennifer (Chad) Hynes, Brett (Julie) Everett, great grandchildren Trenton, Logan, Rylee, Caleb, Maesyn, Braelyn and Berkley. Four great-great grandchildren.
Gwendolyn loved antiques and traveling with her husband to find their next treasure. She loved tending to her rose bushes and her two pugs Misty and Rocky.
Gwendolyn's family will celebrate her life on October 17, 2024 at 12pm at Riverside Cemetery on S. Superior Street in Albion, Michigan.
