Daniel was born November 7, 1945 in Williamson, West Virginia to Claude and Sylvia (Charles) May.
Daniel served our country honorably in the United States Army and toured in Vietnam.
He married the love of his life, Linda (Davis) on May 13, 1968. Together they had three children, and seven grandchildren that were the pride of his life.
He enjoyed fishing, gaming, cooking, and eating. He also loved talking to people and was not afraid to give you his opinion.
He was a faithful member of Christ Apostolic Church. He shared his faith and love for Jesus whenever possible.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Linda, daughter, Sheila (Harry) Worden of Albion, daughter, Danielle (Kevin) Short of Homer, and son, Jared (Michaela) May of Albion. Grandchildren, Kaisey (Andrew) Foltz of Kalamazoo, Nicholas Worden, Madison (Dom) Haas, Parker May, Nora May, Gabriella May, and Adeline May, all of Albion, brother, Johnny (Rose) May of Albion, and sisters, Marian (Henry) Miller of Jackson, and Sharon (John) Woods of Albion.
He was proceeded in death by both parents, baby brother, Gary May, brother, Claude May Jr., and sisters, Elva Mann and Karen Mann.
Services will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022 with visitation at 11AM until the service time at 1PM at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr., Albion with Pastors David Trammell and Terron Erwin officiating. Cremation will follow and he will be laid to rest at a later date in Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
