Bessye Hazel Sanders

Bessye H. Sanders age 96 entered into eternal peace on the 18th of July, 2015 at her home with her family present in Homer, Michigan. Bessye was born the 30th of October, 1918 in Callao, Missouri the daughter of Andrew F. Johnson and Cornelia M. Maxwell.

Bessye, was married to William James (Boss) Sanders on the 27th of September, 1952 who preceded her in death 1983.

Bessye returned to school and graduated from Homer Community High in 1973, she

was a house wife with a passion for fishing with her husband (Boss). Bessye also enjoyed bingo, sewing and cooking. She made the best blue berry and apple pies.

Bessye was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, William, Benjiman, Boyd,

sisters, Helen, Hallie and Francis and a daughter, Eileen, step-son Arnold Sanders

and a son-in-law, Walter Thompson. Bessye leaves her loving memories to be cherished

by her children, Shirley Thompson of Albion, Sandra (John) Moore of Dimondale, Ronald (Barbara) Sanders of Homer and Rhonda Warnsley of Albion, step-son James

Sanders of France, step-daughter, Joan (Talley) Hobdy of Battle Creek. She also leaves behind several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren and

4 great-great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Bessye Sanders was an incredible Lady who enjoyed and lived life to the fullest.

The Family of Bessye Sanders wish to Thank Pastor Steven Williams, Friends and

J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 24, 2015 at 1:00PM at the

J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224 with

Pastor Steven Williams officiating with family hour at 12:30PM followed by

the service.

Interment will follow at Albion Memory Gardens, Albion.
