Audrey Irene Ackley

Center in Charlotte at the age of 87 years. She was born at home March 1, 1928 in

Hillsdale County to Beryl and Emma (Foster) Wonders.

She attended several rural schools before graduating from Homer High School

June of 1947. On June 10, 1947 she married Robert Ackley at Cook’s Prairie Baptist

Church and they moved to their first farm. Later they bought and moved to their farm

On J Drive South where they farmed for many years before retiring.

She spent her entire life being a homemaker and helping on the farm. She was very

active in Church playing piano and organ, Sunday school & Junior Church teaching.

Also, in the Missionary Society & Ladies Aid. She enjoyed gardening, playing Dulcimers, camping & reading.

Audrey is survived by her husband Robert, a sister Ethelyn Tech of Marshall and

A brother Clyde Wonders of Pittsford, a sister-in-law & brother-in-law Frances &

Victor Frendt, and many nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Harold & Robert Wonders, 2 sisters-in-law.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, July 26, 2015 from

3:00 – 6:00PM at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion,

Michigan 49224. Graveside Service will be held Monday, July 27th at 1:00PM

at Riverside Cemetery, 1301 S. Superior Street, Albion, Michigan 49224 with

Pastor Brent Stille officiating from the Litchfield Baptist Church.
