Randy "Steve" Thompson

Steve was born on September 4, 1951 to Clarence “Gene” Thompson and Patricia (Stout) Woodward. He graduated from Chippewa High School in Doylestown, Ohio. Steve worked as a Union Bricklayer in Akron, Ohio. He loved to ride his Harley, fishing, and going canoeing. Steve liked to tinker around, build fires, smoke cigars, and being outdoors. He enjoyed making coffee, breakfast, and talking to his friends. Steve enjoyed making cookies with his grandchildren during Christmas and attending their sporting events.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Steve will be deeply missed by his children The 4-J’s, Jessica (Eric) Mattison, Joshua (Susan) Thompson, Jamie (Anthony) Thompson-Lee, and Jodie (Brett Shepherd) Wagner, grandchildren, Cody (Cyndee) Lance, Matson (Katie) Lance, Austin (Destiny) Lance, Erricka (Laughton) Jones, Justus Lee, Philip Wagner, Mitchell Wagner, Destinee (Spencer) Cashner, Triniti Lee, Mercedes Wagner, Freedom Lee, and Legacy Lee, great-grandchildren, Boyan, Addlynn, Veronica, Carson, Axle, Zoey, Rylee, and Waylon, siblings, Michael Thompson, Janine (Patrick) Bourque, Debra Thompson, and Brian (Raquel) Thompson. He will be missed by his dear friend, Eric and the Breakfast Crew.

Friends and family may come to call on March 1, 2024 from 3-5 p.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home. A service will follow at 5 p.m.
