In the early morning of May 19, 2021 Louise Rogers was welcomed into the joy of Heaven by her loving husband, Ned, her mother Edith Louise (Davis) Fain, stepfather Stanley, Fain, sister, Dorothy, and brother Bob. The great heavenly reunion includes many others who loved and supported Louise during her earthly journey.
Louise was born in Richfield, Ohio in her grandparents’ home. Later, after marrying the love of her life, Ned, they built their home together up on a hill overlooking that same house where her grandparents (Thomas & Mona Davis) lived. They enjoyed watching many beautiful sunsets together from their house on the hill.
Louise leaves behind a large family who loved her. Five daughters: Sherri (Danny) Kroslak, Donna (John) Hunyadi, Peggy (Bill) Jackson, Barb (Dave) Hollendonner, Patty (Roger) Webel, Sisters: Mona Fain & Linda (Freddy) Sergent, brother-in-law Norm Rogers, sister-in-law Sue Caldwell, as well as 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Although Louise had a large loving family, her heart had an empty space until filled by her faith and commitment in Jesus Christ; thus, she was baptized on December 9, 1979 at Norton Apostolic Christian Church.
Louise was the oldest living member of Norton Apostolic Christian Church, where she loved to sing to her Savior, Jesus. She also enjoyed sewing, baking delicious pies, cooking (mac. & cheese, anyone?), traveling with Ned, and immersing herself with her family.
She graduated in the first graduating class of Revere High School in 1952.
In her final years of life, she received very loving care from the unsung heroes of Greenview Assisted Living in Green. Her loving, hardworking caregivers of Greenview became her devoted family since the 2020 isolation due to Covid regulations. Their hearts were hurting as they tended to Louise during the last of her earthly life.
Rose Hill Funeral Home will have calling hours Monday, May 24, 2021 from 10 am to 12 noon. Immediately following the calling hours will be a private service for family and close friends (due to Covid health regulations) by grandson, Pastor Michael Syx. In memory of Louise you may donate to Crossroads Hospice or your favorite charity.
