Preceded in death by her parents, William and Pia Magrini, brothers George and Joseph Magrini and daughter Carol Ann Shue. She is survived by husband Harry M. Shue and son David M. Shue.
Born in Pittsburg, PA 10/24/1919 to Italian immigrant parents seeking a land of better opportunity, the family moved to Akron, Ohio where her father worked at the Firestone Rubber Factory. Graduating from North High School in 1938, she attended Hammell Business College and worked for 8 years at North Akron Savings.
Shefirst met Harry in late April 1942 on a blind date. Praying intensely for his welfare, she would not see him again for 3 1/2 years during WWII. Marriage began in late December 1946 proving to be an adventure for the next near 70 years. A home business and family were initiated in Denver Colorado in the early 50's.
Moving back to Wadsworth, Ohio she commenced working for Akron Savings (later TransOhio) for twenty years. Always competent and responsible on the job her first priority was her family. The joy of raising a family was her primary focus. Whether in creating a home atmosphere or quality meals, she expressed her love.
Dedication to family was exuded in an exemplary role model as a wife, parent and student of God's Word. Her relationship with God was not merely a ritual, but a living interaction evidenced by outward action not limited to words alone. Genuineness and humility were matched by wisdom and discernment.
Facing very difficult experiences in life her faith was challenged and yet realized in the way she handled disappointments and tragedy. While God was her best friend and confident, her commitment to Him was characterized by her servant heart. Kindness for others was vitally influenced by a giving nature.
Her realistic perspective in life was paramount to any given situation. A quiet residual trust in God gave her peace in the midst of a storm. Her presence is deeply missed as a unique inspiration to anyone who came in contact with her. As Scripture confirms, precious in the sight of God are the death of His saints.
