Born on September 29, 1933, Maureen was the cherished daughter of the late Tom and Eileen Outhwaite. She was the loving sister of Rita, Eileen and Patty.
Maureen's legacy lives on through her three adoring daughters: Joanne (Albert), Cathy, and Linda (Tim). Predeceased by her son-in law Dave.
Her love extended to her five grandchildren: Adam (Dale), Megan, Heather (Ryan), Melanie, and Lesley (Chris), and her 7 great-grandchildren, Ally, Jayla, Emmett, Adison, Ruby, Landen, and Lucy, who all held a special place in her heart.
Maureen was an avid Toronto Blue Jays fan and looked forward to watching all the games and learning about the players.
The family would like to express their gratitude for the care she received from the compassionate PSW’s at Lakeview Villa.
A private ceremony for immediate family will be held at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home on Thursday October 12th. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society, both causes close to Maureen's heart.
Friends and family are invited to gather for a celebration of life on Saturday, October 21st from 1 – 4pm at The Royal Canadian Legion, Acton Branch 197. This is an opportunity to share stories, laughter and honour Maureen’s remarkable life.
