Mike was loved and respected by all who knew him, and adored by his wife, children, grandchildren, extended family members, and friends.
He spent most of his working career in the oil industry, except for a short time teaching and coaching football in Sudan, Texas. He was currently employed by Quail Well Service, as Supervisor of the Plugging Dept.
He could always be found reading a good book, watching an old western on TV, or telling stories to his kids and grandkids. He was proud of his cowboy heritage, and had a love for riding horses, playing golf, listening to music, and watching football. He was a natural teacher and loved sharing his knowledge with anyone who would lend an ear. But most of all Mike enjoyed spending his time with his loving wife of 36 years, Eva Ann Power.
Mike was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and the best friend a person could have, and liked by everyone; a simple, honest man of integrity, and the World was a better a place with him here.
