Larry Ray Shifflett, 70, of Abilene, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024, in Abilene. He was born on October 18, 1954, in Abilene to the late Calvin Shifflett, Jr. and Mary Ruth Smith Shifflett. Larry was a man of many passions, particularly his love for Harley-Davidson motorcycles, guns, and the outdoors. An avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed the thrill of the chase and the peace of nature.
Larry is survived by his siblings, Sylvia Kay Bunch, Randy and Tami Shifflett, and David and Paula Hunter; his sister-in-law, Vikki Shifflett; dear friend, Brooklyn Kanady and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Lynn Shifflett.
Larry will be remembered for his vibrant spirit, love for family, and dedication to his hobbies. He will be missed deeply by all who knew him.
