Allen was born March 17, 1948 to Eugene Lang, Jr. and Jewell Faye Lang in Abilene, Texas.
Allen is survived by his mother, his two sons, Michael Shawn Lang of Austin, Texas and Michael Shane Loague of Odessa, Texas; and daughter, Tonya Marie Lang, of Cedar Creek, Texas.
Allen has five living siblings, Freddy, Bobby, Dale, Diane and Mary and numerous nieces and nephews.
Allen’s favorite past times included spending time with his grandchildren, Cory, Dustin, Brendi and Shane. Allen also enjoyed watching Texas Rangers baseball and was a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
Allen worked his entire adult life in the oil fields of West Texas and retired after 30 years. Allen took it upon himself to care for his mother and eventually moved her back to Eastland Texas where they lived together since 2005.
