She was born in beautiful San Diego, CA on January 12, 1955, to Horace Finks, Sr. and Annie Ruth McClure (both deceased). She was fostered by Napoleon and Willie Mae Hunt.
Though childhood was tough, but she made the best of it. She played various sports and was an excellent student. Through the years, she developed an incredible inner strength and a passion for relationships. Beverly had many lifelong friendships and was often the first to pick up the phone to call. She never forgot a birthday and always found a way to make us laugh. Beverly was sharper than most, and her eyes never messed a thing. She was a second mom to many and dear "Miss Bev" to even more.
She was preceded in death by son Michael Jade Savage; siblings Brenda Finks and Horace Finks, Jr. of San Diego, CA; and foster brother Robert Hunt of Los Angeles, CA.
She is survived by son Barry Roshun Moore; daughter Tiffani Patrice (Moore) Cabrera; siblings Charles E. Finks of Little Rock, AR, Hermana R. (Bay-Bay) Polk of Los Angeles, CA, Vincent L. Jones of San Diego, CA, Wanda Rochelle (Mooring) Pitts of Las Vegas, NV; foster sister Darlene of Los Angeles, CA; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; 15 nieces and nephews; 34 great-nieces and -nephews; and countless friends that she loved like family.
We are left with so many beautiful memories that will live on in our hearts. May she rest in heavenwith our Lord forever.
