He is survived by his children: Carolyn Gutteridge (Andrew), Darlene Taylor (Jay), and David Boyd; and by his grandchildren: Josh (Otilja), Sara (David), Nick (Andie), Claire (Scott); and his great-grandchildren: Jordyn, Jared, Charlie, Harper, and baby-to-be (due in April).
During World War II, Warren left the family farm in Melfort, SK to join the RCAF. After earning degrees from Canadian Nazarene College (CNC) and Northwest Nazarene College, he pastored in Penticton, BC; Lethbridge, AB; Calgary, AB; Edmonton, AB; and Vancouver, BC. He also worked as the Business Manager at CNC in Winnipeg, MB before returning to pastor in Lethbridge, AB. He retired to Abbotsford in 1988. Over the years, Warren and Jean enjoyed travelling, especially to visit family members. For the last two years, Warren resided at Tabor Home where the caring staff made a home for him.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2024 at the Abbotsford Church of the Nazarene at 2390 McMillan Road, Abbotsford with Rev. Pat Wiens officiating.
