2020 at 75 years of age.
Don was born in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba and moved to B.C. with his family in 1947.
Don was an owner/operator gravel truck driver and after his retirement in 2012, he
enjoyed going for coffee at various coffee shops and spending time with his grandkids.
Don was predeceased by his wife Marilyn (1998), his mother Agnes and father Daniel,
and sisters Leona and Esther. He is survived by his boys; Barry (Jessica), and Brent
(Alicia), his cherished grandchildren; Maddie, Taylor, Ruby, Lincoln, Jackson, Posie and
Griffin, his sister Viola Calhoun, brothers; Ed (Sharon), Ron (Toni), Orland and many
extended family and friends.
Don’s family would like to thank the amazing staff at Maplewood House for all the
wonderful care they provided for Don over the past 3 years.
