In our park setting, clean concrete walks lined with boxwoods, dwarf nandina shrubs, petunias and lilies form the borders of various memorial gardens. Illuminated garden features provide a picturesque finish to our carefully considered landscape.

Ground-burial sites feature traditional flush markers, as well as artful upright memorials. We offer above-ground interment in a community mausoleum, and the mausoleum chapel is a lovely, light-filled space in which to hold for a committal ceremony. Family estates and private mausoleums are distinctly beautiful gathering places for future generations. Those who choose cremation may opt for mausoleum inurnment or in-ground burial at the park. Memorial benches make the perfect lasting monument to a loved one, and can be placed in honor of either an individual or a family.

Our 110-acre cemetery houses a wide variety of antique trees and their foliage, including Bradford pear, crepe myrtle, juniper, magnolia, Leland cypress, white oak, red oak, pine, sugar maple, red maple, Japanese maple, dogwood, weeping cherry and other species ranging from 8 to 90 feet tall.

Our historic cemetery in Greenville

In 1958, Dwight Holder and Dick Herbert founded Greenville Memorial Gardens on an old cotton plantation. Our office, built with peg construction in 1821, once served as a watering point for stagecoach horses en route from Greenville to Augusta. Today, we open our doors and our hearts to families from all traditions, backgrounds and faiths.
