Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home includes Sedgefield Chapel, a large nondenominational chapel that seats about 160 people. It's a flexible space used for funeral and memorial services for people of many cultures and religions.

Guilford Memorial Park

Established in 1936 and covering more than 100 acres, the cemetery is located at 6000 High Point Road between two of the Piedmont Triad's biggest cities, Greensboro and High Point. Magnolia trees, rolling hills and a sparkling lake create a peaceful setting.

Mausoleums and committal services

Our memorial park offers three options for mausoleum interments. Tower Mausoleum, near the park entrance is an outdoor mausoleum faced in rock, with a Spanish-style red tile roof. Mausoleum II offers aboveground entombment inside and outside. Both of these mausoleums have small chapels for committal services. Each seats about 35 guests. We are also introducing our new sleek and modern Parkview Mausoleum, expected to be completed Spring 2022. Contact us today for more information.

Burial and cremation options

Guilford Memorial Park also has several sections for ground burial, giving families the choice of upright monuments or flat bronze markers. The cremation garden includes a variety of options. Private estates are available for both families and individuals.

Veterans services and military funerals

Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home and Guilford Memorial Park are experts at military funerals and burials. The cemetery has a large veterans section. The funeral home works closely with local and national organizations to help families secure benefits for their veterans and create services that honor their sacrifice.

Additionally, through the Homeless Veterans Burial Program, the funeral home provides funeral services at no cost to members of the U.S. armed forces who have fallen on hard times.
