History

In 1927 Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Oak Lawn, Illinois, became an early provider of funeral services to the entire southwest Chicago region. As the portfolio of services grew to include new services, such as burial of cremated remains, the name changed to Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery.

In 1996, almost 70 years after our founding, Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home opened to allow families to plan a cremation, funeral, memorial and burial at these sister locations.
