History

Baldwin-Fairchild Cemeteries & Funeral Homes began in 1972 when Richard O. Baldwin Jr. founded the first Baldwin Funeral Home in the Goldenrod area of Orlando. In 1974, Mr. Baldwin expanded to Altamonte Springs, and in 1978, he added All Faiths Memorial Park in Casselberry.

Growth in Orlando

In 1980, Richard expanded further through the acquisition of 3 additional funeral homes in the Orlando area: Fairchild Funeral Home and Crematory located on Lake Ivanhoe, Bray Funeral Home in Apopka and our location, Hoequist Funeral Home in Winter Garden. All 5 of the funeral homes were renamed Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Homes.
