Cremation arrangements

Not everyone knows that there are many cremation options. If you are interested in cremation, the funeral home team can explain the process and different options. From a direct cremation without a memorial service or a witness cremation to a full funeral service before or after the cremation and more, we help you understand this increasingly common choice—and handle all of the cremation arrangements.

Oaklawn Cemetery

With lush sweeping lawns, a variety of mature trees and shrubs, paved drives and nature-inspired water features, Oaklawn Cemetery is an especially picturesque property. There is even a pavilion for small outdoor services.

Our cemetery offers numerous burial options, including in-ground interment with flat markers or upright monuments, private or public mausoleum entombment or a memorial choice specific to cremation. We have selections ranging in price and style to accommodate all needs.

History

Baldwin-Fairchild Cemeteries and Funeral Homes opened in 1972, when Richard O. Baldwin Jr. founded the first Baldwin Funeral Home in the Goldenrod area of Orlando. In 1974, he expanded to Altamonte Springs, and in 1978 he added All Faiths Memorial Park in Casselberry.

In 1980, Richard acquired 3 more funeral homes in the Orlando area: Fairchild Funeral Home and Crematory located on Lake Ivanhoe; Bray Funeral Home in Apopka; and Hoequist Funeral Home in Winter Garden. He then renamed all 5 of his funeral homes to Baldwin-Fairchild.

Our founding principle is to serve all families regardless of faith or circumstance, providing unwavering respect and dignity throughout the entire funeral process. Today, Baldwin-Fairchild has 10 chapel locations and 4 cemeteries serving all of the Greater Orlando area.
