History

In 1972, Richard O. Baldwin Jr. began Baldwin-Fairchild Cemeteries & Funeral Homes when he founded the first Baldwin Funeral Home in the Goldenrod area of Orlando. In 1974, Richard Baldwin expanded to Altamonte Springs, and in 1978 he added All Faiths Memorial Park in Casselberry.

Growth in Orlando

In 1980, Richard expanded further through the acquisition of 3 additional funeral homes in the Orlando area: Fairchild Funeral Home and Crematory located on Lake Ivanhoe, Bray Funeral Home in Apopka and Hoequist Funeral Home in Winter Garden. All 5 of the funeral homes were renamed Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Homes.

Following more acquisitions through the years, Baldwin-Fairchild Cemeteries & Funeral Homes now consist of 10 chapel locations and 4 cemeteries serving all of the Greater Orlando area. Richard has always believed that families, regardless of their faith, social status or circumstances, deserve unwavering respect and dignity throughout the entire funeral process.
