History

Fulton-Theroux Funeral Service was founded in 1857 in New London, Connecticut, with the Old Lyme location opening in the early 1900s. Over the years, our funeral home has had various ownership and name changes from Jewett Funeral Home to Aldersen-Prentice and finally to Fulton-Theroux Funeral Service. The Fulton family has lived in Old Lyme for many generations, being involved in every aspect of the local community.
