El Camino Memorial Park cemetery

El Camino Memorial Park is a master-planned cemetery located at 5600 Carroll Canyon Road in the Sorrento Valley neighborhood of San Diego. Paul Trousdale founded the 220-acre cemetery in 1960.

The cemetery is easily one of the more beautiful properties in San Diego County (which is saying a lot, since this area has an abundance of natural appeal). Every lawn, fountain, monument and mural is meticulously maintained to retain the dignity and beauty of the grounds.

An endowment care fund ensures future maintenance, and we are considered an official green park, using reclaimed water provided by San Diego's water recycling plant.

A San Diego cemetery for all people

El Camino Memorial Park has many lovely gardens, including a veterans garden, marked by 3 flags and tasteful monuments. The veterans area allows for family estates, so military families can be memorialized together.

We offer many burial options, including traditional in-ground burial, above-ground entombment and cremation options that include niches and boulders.

El Camino Memorial Park is the final resting place for notable people such as Jonas Salk, Ray and Joan Kroc, Joseph Coors Sr. and Patty Page, but you don't have to be famous to be buried here. We serve people of all cultures, religions and backgrounds.

We also offer placement services and will be happy to schedule placement for birthdays and holidays.
