Rita Moreno, 81, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at her home in Yuma, Arizona. She was born November 19, 1933 in Yuma, Arizona.
Rita was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She worked as a security guard, she enjoyed dancing and music and she loved to talk.
Rita is survived by her children, Jesse Mier of Washington State, Debra Cynthia Leabo of Meeker, OK, Delilah Reina Marg Ruiz of Corsicana, TX, Robert Eugene Figueroa Jr. of Yuma, AZ, Curtis Dean Figueroa of Miami, FL, and Marie Francie Hernandez of San Diego, CA; sister, Theresa Caylao; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren along with 3 nieces, 4 nephews and 2 cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Francisca Casares; uncle, Moses Casares; Sister, Helen, and cousin Nellie Johnson.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 2pm at Johnson Mortuary Chapel with the Funeral Service to follow at 3pm.
